When would you use a female condom?
Anytime you’d use a condom! Female condoms are also called internal condoms, because they can be used for both vaginal and anal sex — by men or women. Female condoms are inserted before sex to protect against both pregnancy and STDs. They work the same way as a male condom: by collecting pre-cum and semen when a guy ejaculates, and minimizing genital skin-to-skin contact. By providing a barrier between egg and sperm as well as genital skin, female condoms reduce the risk of pregnancy (during vaginal sex) and sexually transmitted infections (during vaginal or anal sex).
